I am looking to pursue my doctoral studies in Biomedical Engineering in Europe. My primary research interests lie in the areas of Cardiovascular Engineering and Biomechanics.
Could anyone suggest which would be the ideal destination given my field of study?
In terms of research quality, how do German universities fare against those in Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway?

It was my PhD research topic, but not in the ares of Cardiovascular Engineering. I have done quite lots of working in the similar field in Biomechanics. May I know which German university are you targeting now?
