Hi all,

Well - I got the list of corrections from the examiners for the referral. It's pretty clear and very detailed, including a suggested outline to use for the thesis itself. In fact, it seems I have to rewrite all of the chapters of the thesis. It seems like a monumental task and I'm feeling extremely discouraged.

Any of you who have gone through this process - were your corrections this extensive?

I'm feeling completely overwhelmed right now.

It might sound hollow right now, but break it down chapter by chapter and section by section and just do everything that's asked and at the end of that you'll have your phd. Get it done, and move on. Good luck.

It might feel daunting right now, but actually you're lucky to have such a detailed list of corrections - this way you know exactly what's required to get your PhD. Just do exactly what they ask and you should have no problems.

Hi Tenzin, I know this was over a month ago now, but you'll still have a fair bit of time to work on everthing - I've just posted a lengthy new message on the forum about my own R&R journey, so have a look and hopefully it helps!
