Hello, I am about to apply for a studentship and I am a bit confused on how to construct the research proposal as everything included title and research methods are included in the studentship summary.
I emailed the supervisor and asked her if a research proposal is needed (I know stupid question) and she said yes but has not given me any further advice.
Has anyone else encountered anything similar? If so how did you go about it in your proposal?
Also how long did it take you to write it?

I had the same issue when applying for mine. The response I got was to essentially write a research proposal for the topic as if it was my own, covering plenty of literature and intended impact.
