I had my 1st Viva at December 2016 and resubmitted my thesie this January. Just got the notice that I will be required for a 2nd Viva. As my PhD supervisors are not in my area, I was strguuled after my first supervisor left at the end of first year. Really frustrating time. I wish I can receive some advice from you all or anyone else had samilar experiences to give some suggestions? Many thanks

It seems strange that you suddenly get informed that you need to undergo a 2nd viva if the results from the first viva did not state that? Can you reach your first supervisor for advice/support via email/Skype?

Thanks for your suggestions. I do asked my supervisor. He just asked me to prepare presentation for the 2nd Viva. Actually, he is not expert in my area. During my PhD, after my first supervisor left, I have not received any proper academic support for my current supervisors. He seems never care about my PhD........I request to go through the corrections together, he always brought the questions back to prepare the presentation for the 2nd Viva.......Feeling disappointed .......
