Is there a norm these days? I remember seeing people waiting to go in for a postdoc interview and some looking more on the casual side. So maybe your own comfort is more important these days? Any tips appreciated!

I have seen people attending postdoc interviews in T-shirt and jeans. However, I still feel that smart business wear is still best for good first impression.

I asked my supervisor about this when I went for a Postdoc interview - she said you can't go wrong with shirt and smart trousers/skirt. Try and be comfortable, but first impressions do count
