I hope you can help me answer the following question.
I work in the tourism industry and my company asked me to put my titles on the business card. Now, my academic trajectory was very unconventional. I completed an M.A. in history and continued with a dual Ph.D in sociology and political science. For this company I work more as historian than as political scientist or sociologist, which is why I feel uncomfortable to put Ph.D. on the business card. Although history was an important subject also in my PhD. If I could, I wouldn't put any title on my business card... but it seems I have to. How do you think I should do it?
