I am one year into my scholarship based PhD, half coursework successfully done. Broad topic: "Integrating energy efficiency and historic built environment" (Architecture background). The synopsis presentation will be done with in next 6 months, but still confused about my topic: whether to go along with typical simulation using Envi-met software or venture into artificial neural network. The synopsis need to be finalized asap. According to the administration we need 2 SCI papers (which is a huge pressure), review paper got rejected twice. The clock is ticking.....need advice.
