...I got it!

I have been given AHRC funding. I can now do my PhD and not have to work 'part-time' (which it never is!). I'm so pleased. Relief. Working and studying has been so hard. If people don't get funding do try again and again. It can happen. Wow. I feel giddy and sick.

But happy. Must lie down. Only found out 2 hours ago....

which is good for living, ESRC or AHRC? ESRC pays you 14,300 for living expenses per year.

I'll get £12,200. I've been living off £9,000 after tax at the mo. And having to work.
