L

he means you have to use your brain not ours

if you want to contact someone you use telephone/email/post. That's true in ANY country. So why did you need to ask?

I think what Badhaircut means is that 'YOU' have to doyour OWN research and running around. Nobody will do it for you or give you the exact information that you need.

Mahi...To be able to help you in any given way, people have got to understand your query hence your need first. I will try to reconstruct your query for you. Let me now if this is what you were attempting to say. Thereafter, I will offer my suggestions. Your original query was meant to be:
Can anybody signpost me in the best direction to find a scholarship that will enable me to fund Post Graduate studies? I completed a Masters programme in Paediatrics in Egypt. I am looking to do the PHD at a place that will enable me to use the skills and knowledge base that I gained from the Masters programme.

This is exactly the the kind of thread which started a three day war against the west by the user known as giri because I made the point, that some people come on to this site expecting the answers to fall into their laps and I do think this is just plain laziness.

like golfpro pointed out, it takes very little time at all to find out the information you need, but it's important to be a little bit more specific and clear.

people are more than happy to point you in the right direction but dont expect people to find funding for you!!!

if your interested in pediatrics then the following site may be a good website to start with( and I found this without knowing anything about medicine ).

http://www.ich.ucl.ac.uk/

As I understand it, Great Ormand Street is one of the best pediatric hospitals in the world. My sister had life saving surgery there as a baby

the best way to apporach PhDs in the UK is to find individual projects you are interested in, contact the prospective supervisor stating your interest and providing a detailed CV. they should be able to advise on funding.

As you are non EU. i would imagine you wont get all your fees covered so you are probably going to have to source funding privately
as well.

I would accept that communication resourses in many countries are not as readily available as in the UK but in many cases this is not a good excuse for asking people to find the answers for them.
