Development Studies at LSE, Cambridge or Sussex?

E

I'm currently wrapping up my bachelors in India. I've applied to, and received offers for admission to the masters in Development Studies program at Cambridge, LSE and Sussex. Cambridge obviously is the most reputed, but LSE and Sussex seem to have better program content. Does anybody have any idea of how good the Development Studies program at Cambridge is(in terms of faculty and course structure)? Which one should I choose?

Hi,
I am currently doing a MA in Globalization, Ethnicity and Culture at the University of Sussex. Though I am not an IDS student, I am very much aware of the reputation and reserach that eminates from the school. Many of the texts that I read for my programme are authored by IDS faculty and indeed the institute is among the, if not the, strongest development focused institutes in the world. I'd highly recommend not only IDS but also Brighton as a great place to live and work! A helpful resource for postgraduate life here in England is www.postgrad.com. Good luck!
