Where do I go to?

D

I'm have already applied to three places (surrey, brunel, and westminster). I expect to get in at least at surrey/brunel. if both come through (surrey - chem, brunel- molecular medicine), which one should i go to?
I'm not a whiner when it comes to the social scence as social life is what you make of it (i.e. only losers tend to say they feel left out etc), but what about expenses?
How about access to london. If i live in london, can I attend any of these places. Canada is big, you just cant commute here outside your community, but I wonder sometimes about the london-guildford distance etc.

Alright, thanks in advance for any replies- cheers!

hey,
if you're worried about expenses, you should not be looking at living in London! living costs in London are so much higher than elsewhere in the UK, that people who work in London get paid extra (so called "London allowance") because otherwise nobody could afford to live/work in London. People commute into London for work from as far as 2-3 hours out, because they can save so much on living costs.
if you want to check out actual travelling times, go to www.nationalrail.co.uk for train timetables and www.tfl.gov.uk for public transport within London (tube etc.). personally i would avoid commuting by car at all costs, but if you are considering doing that, you can always use maps.google.com to estimate travelling times.

Well go for the project that you most like the sound of.. 3 years is a long time to be doing a project so you got to def go for the one that appeals the most. As for travelling from guildford to London.. If memory serves the faster trains do it in about 40 mins and the slower ones take just over an hour

What course do you want to do at westminster? Is it in the school of biosciences?
