European Cup Final: Predictions?

R

I'm going for Drogba to score first and Chelsea to win by penalty shootout.

W

In no way am I a fan, but I do think it'll be Man U. I hope not though.

J

In no way am I supporter of neither ManU nor Chelsea, but I have a feeling that Ballack will nail it.

When does it start? I hope not at the same time as The apprentice

J

I worked at chelsea box office once as a temp job and it was the most awful job in the world. Everyone was mean, the atmosphere was horrible and spiteful and the days looooong. SO, I will be going for Man U all the way!

N

Just made a bet on Chelsea (with my boyfriend though, nothing serious - the loser cooks, lol).

Not that I like Chelsea, but I actually hate ManU with all my heart... ooops, sorry!

N

Mmm, it's like 20.30 and I'm starting to think I made the wrong bet again

J

Seems like Nadia is out there preparing a meal in the kitchen...

S

hehe Man U won

R

Boys and Girls,
I'm hurting a little bit at the moment so please be nice for a while. Anyone else think it is was a cruel way for Chelsea to lose?

Rob

M

I'm not a Man U or Chelsea fan - but Chelsea were truly robbed last night. They completely out played Man U.

However, I was quite pleased with myself as I correctly predicted Ronaldo would miss his penalty :)

G

"...but Chelsea were truly robbed last night. They completely out played Man U".

I must have been watching the 'other' Champions League final then.

S

I agree with golf pro. I think it could have gone either way. Man U dominated the first half and chelsea the second. Penalty shoot outs can go either way. They did well to get to the final.

B

Thank God United only win it every 9 or 40 years ... in bits today!!!

Having a bit of a crisis with the PhD and nearly rang up the supervisor at 3.30 last night to diplomatically tell him I was finishing - now that would have been fun

S

Chelsea were robbed!?!?! The only their players know how to do is whinge at the referee (please see Mr J Cole in particular). Makelele went down everytime a raindrop fell on him (and then pleaded with the ref that his high two footed tackles were 'a slip') whereas Scholes played on with a broken nose.
Let's face it - the pitch was shite, the ref was abysmal and had no consistency. But Chelsea were DIRTY. Yes, at times they outplayed united and players like Lampard and Terry (though I hate Terry) deserved the title; but its players like Drogba, J Cole and Makelele that give them such a poor reputation. Vidic has a hell of a temper - being a good Serb - but he doesn't cheat or smack people in the face.
