I would really appreciate if anyone can give any idea how i can get a scholarship to cover my LLM. Apparently I am offered the LLM admission at the University of Essex, but the offer did not include the tuition fee and accomodation. I am looking aorund to get scholarship to cover my tuition fee and accomodation as I am from a poor country with a small amount of income..

Have a look for similar posts back through the forum. Its a much asked question. You may find something useful said in the past.

Yothean, unfortunately you are highly unlikely to gain any sort of scholarship for a masters courses (particularly for law). If you are to obtain funding, it is most likely to come from your own country.

Try 'directly' asking Essex for a list of scholarship providers, and visit the British Council website as they also have scholarships for international students.

The only scholarship that I can think may apply to you is Chevening :

Just to add, most students from both developed and developing countries will have only a 'small amount of income' - which means everyone is competing for any funds that are available.

You may stand a better chance in the US, where there are more funds available.

Thanks so much for your kind and adices...the British councile only offer scholarship to candidate who is residing in the Cambodia, but i am not in Cambodia. I am working as UN volunteer in Nepal, so i am not met the criteria..
