What percentage of PhD students work in science after completing their PhD? I have heard that many PhD graduates go on to work in the finance or business sector. Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Some can work in research Institute and others can be Research Associate in University. No doubt, these two places are difficult to go in..

I suppose that depends on what branch of science you are looking for research in as some are more popular than others while anything bio-medical or related seems to get lots of funding. It also depends on yourself and how interested you are in the topic at the end of your PhD what sector you go into. Obviously you get paid lots more than science if you go into finance or business.
