Why would you want two master's degrees? What are your career goals?

Why is your supervisor asking you to make things instead of buying them? Could it be he is trying to get you to learn something from the process? Same goes for all the extra analyses.

Regarding working hours, I would do what works for you. I bet if you check your university handbook or similar there's no stipulation that you have to work the hours that your supervisor says you have to.

Regarding how you show the problem is with your supervisor and not with you, honestly you haven't convinced me here. You need to rephrase your comments for a start. E.e. supervisor "insists", he thinks this, whereas I think this (why is your opinion 7 months in better than your supervisors' with years of experience?), "waste of time" etc.

How do you know your next set of supervisors won't be just as bad?

What attempts have you made to improve your relationship with your supervisor?

No, your examiner makes the recommendations to the exam board, without that, you have no PhD.

Well done for getting this far! I also had a harrowing viva and I know how soul destroying it is, but you will feel better about it soon. Just follow bewildered's and Jamie's advice and it will be done in no time.

Depends on your field. Some are more competitive than others. I've known funded PhDs advertised and receive no applications.

If you're getting interviews, you're doing something right so I would keep going. If you're not successful, ask for feedback so you can check you're not making any fundamental errors in the interview.

It doesn't really matter who leads on paper in my opinion. I had a primary supervisor (prof), but secondary (senior lecturer) was way more involved in terms of overall direction and day to day stuff. This is very common in academia.

Let A be your lead on paper, and then do what B suggests. Unless A really cares about your research direction, this won't bother them. They will be getting the credit and not having to do the work.

In ideal situation, A will let B lead, so you could ask that, but don't be surprised if they say no.

How long are your proposals? I mean it's only worth it if they are going to take someone 10-30 mins to review the document if you are only paying $50.

Wow! Was that a northern city by any chance? Amazing!

Nope, southwest. Expensive city too. But I didn't do much except write my thesis 10-12 hours a day so I had no time to spend any money even if I had any!

You need to speak to the admin office and find out what's going on. Call or go in in person, don't email.

There's these: https://www.postgraduate-funding.com/gateway

https://www.findaphd.com/funding/guides/phd-without-scholarship.aspx

You should also contact university engineering departments and ask them.

I have no idea what the OPs purpose was, just that it didn't come across as genuine to me. I expected some sort of link to click on for Thai women at the end. It's also got nothing to do with postgrad stuff and it was a first post from this person, so I figured it was spam whatever its intentions were.

Ignore this, this guy is a spammer who should be removed from the forum, not sure why the mods still allow him on here.
