What's happened to all those who had their viva last week eg. Sarahk5275, et al? We want to know!

My viva is in about 10 days. My Dept. have been on the ball. I had a mock-viva last week. I've had my viva date for some time and knew my examiners over a year ago.

Sometimes a kick up the backside like a curt email is just what one needs!

smiloden - its standard procedure to have one about a fortnight before the actual one. It's dictated by our Faculty.
You could ask your Director of Studies to set one up.

I'd recommend setting one up - it's traumatic but invaluable practice.

I suppose what Sleepyhead is getting at, is that you are seemingly known for your combative nature. Despite your problems - all your posts are non-conciliatory. Are we likely to get more of the same?

I think most people go through this phase - it helps you shape your project. Speak to your supervisor to let her/him know your difficulties.
