Hi everyone, hope you're all happy and working hard.:-)
I have a question and I was wondering what others here think. How long does it take to write a good, solid 5000 words for submission? What's the expected time frame that the supervisor will allow you to complete roughly this many words?
Also, (because I have to submit 30,000 by the end of this year), what's the 'expected' amount of time to give yourself to go over all the work/drafts to perfect them? I've allowed myself 3-4 weeks. Is that too much or too little?
COME ON MARMITE PEOPLE! GET VOTING!
Phone entrants are required to call the premium rate telephone number and follow the instructions in the recorded message to answer the relevant question. Standard network charges apply. The total cost will be dependent on the entrant’s network. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more.
:p
I think I agree with louisa, a sudden interest in marmite could be the brain's way of saying you're low on vitamin B's.
Oh how I love the happy little vitamin B's :-x
I think there is an art to spreading the sticky brown stuff: very thinly indeed - like the thin coating on twiglets
I would probably feel a bit uncomfortable about giving them an xmas card too, but that's only because I don't really know them well enough. But imagine how chuffed you would feel if your sup sent you one - you would think that it was quite a thoughtful thing to do, the fact that you were important enough to send one to - you were thought of. I know I would be chuffed about that. I suppose the reason I wouldn't make the first xmas card move is because I would be too preoccupied with my own anxieties about it, rather than the nice xmasy spirit behind the kind and friendly gesture.
