Would like to do PhD by Publication in the UK

I have previously posted the question above; however, I have framed it differently this time, now that I have a better idea of what I wish to do after having explored some options. I am most confounded about expenses and am trying to keep them to a minimum. I admire the UK university systems such as UOL and others.

I am a published author in the areas of paradigms in education and art. My works have been published by scientific publishers such as Springer Publications and Greenwood Press. I am also an independent publisher of poetry books who focuses on the application of creativity to the mundane aspects of life.

My current goal is to attain a PhD by Publication in the UK in addition to publishing new works and original art integrating writings. I have already attained an EdD, the teacher's doctorate in the USA. What would you suggest? Are there are UK universities that would be interested in my proposal? Please, also suggest the least expensive routes to a degree specialising in applied creativity.

Sincere thanks,

Laura

Does Staffordshire University offer a PhD in Applied Creativity by Publication?
L

Staffordshire University seems quite interesting. I believe they offer a PhD in Applied Creativity. Although I submitted an application, there was only an undergraduate option. Could anyone advise me as to whether such a programme exists and whether he/she would recommend it? What other options do I have? I have quite a portfolio of published research and would like to explore areas such as creativity, writing, literature and/or related fields. Thank you for your efforts to help me better understand UK PhDs.

Would like to earn UK PhD by Publication

I have an American EdD degree and am a published author whose name can be found on Amazon.com. One of my publications has been on writing research in mental health. I am looking for a UK University that would permit me to do research in applied creativity, writing, or a related research field so as to attain the traditional UK degree by publication. I appreciate any advice you might have, and recruiters are also welcome to contact me. My publications are with well known European publishers. Thank you very much! Laura
