Congratulations on achieving that score! I wouldn't worry about this. Have you always had a good working relationship with your supervisor?

hi, are you soon-to-be a medical doctor who doesn't want to do medicine? I have a similar friend, he is a qualified GP but he wants to do business and he is always trying to sell me a product etc.

Really sorry, post-doc means you need to already have a PhD. Post-doc does not mean post-doctor of medicine. I hope you can find a way to do something you enjoy. Best of luck

Kick start motivation?

I am also struggling to revise a paper. I encourage myself by doing something different, somehow I do feel better after I've done something else, and then the motivation to write does come back. Another thing you can try is eating with friends or family members. When I eat with someone, even if it's just a bag of chips, I always feel better afterwards. Hope this helps.

hi, congratulations on your phd offer. I don't think the university rank is the most important for post phd employment. Employers always look for experience, and if your university has a higher ranking i suppose that complements it for you.

ergonomic mouse

hi everyone thanks for your replies! I have bought a cheap vertical mouse, it's pretty good. The only thing is that I can't use it for the left hand, it doesn't sit nicely. I have also raised the height of my chair, that seems to help ease the pain and numbness going down my forearm.

hi Tudor_Queen and AOE26, thanks for your replies.
I will look at an ergonomic mouse mat, the pain comes when I am moving the mouse, maybe a mat will help.

I really need to use a mouse, I have my faithful macbook air but I prefer to use a mouse to drag items, corners etc. I have been looking at Evoluent products but they are expensive. I
