Does anyone have access to this article? I'd be very grateful for it.

I can understand that you want to protect yourself if problems arise in the future, I'd suggest linking in with the university's mental health support services, that way you can show (if you ever have to) that you are taking action to deal with your issues. As for whether or not to tell your supervisor, I really don't know, every supervisor (like every person) is different, and their reactions to this kind of news--whether they support or stigmatise--are different too.
Hey there,
I am having problems with a research project (it's not part of my PhD, it's a short contract that I am doing with my supervisor).
I need to recruit mature students to participate in focus groups. I'm getting nowhere. I've got onto mature student societies, programme board chairs, access offices, they [say that they] have all forwarded my invitation but no students are volunteering.
Have you any ideas on recruitment? I'm really stuck here. I'd very much appreciate any advice that anyone has for me.
Thanks. :-)
I am putting together a proposal to do some funded research independent of my PhD (although in the same area). I am having trouble understanding what is expected from me in the application form. They ask specifically for:
"Proposed approach to research/research design" and
"Research methodology to be employed".
I don't understand the difference between research approach and research method, can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks very much for this.
If anyone has access to these, it would be a big help to me, thanks!

Does anyone have access to this paper? I can only get the abstract.

I would like to search through five years of tabloid newspapers for certain keywords. The papers I want to use are not available online or on LexisNexis. There are media intelligence companies which scan in newspaper articles and then (for a fee) perform a keyword search. I don't have the money for the fee.
However, one company offers a free trial. I would probably get enough information from this free trial for my purposes.
Do you think this would be okay? How would I handle the acknowledgements or the references?
