Conferences seem to differ in their dress codes. I often look up conference websites to find photos of past conferences to get an idea of what is usual.

My writing is flowing like mud and the clock seems to be ticking away very fast, it'll be morning before long and I with nothing done! Worst of it is this isn't even PhD work I'm doing, it's writing reports for my research assistant job.
As for a mock viva - isn't that something you should get a good night's sleep before? ;)

Is anybody working tonight? I have to write and write until dawn to make up for weeks of procrastination. Am I on my own tonight?
