Thanks Smoobles for your enlightening post!
Hey everyone,
Just wondering whether you would include citations of your paper in your resume or would that appear too pompous???
Done - hope this helps!
You could send something along the lines of you having emailed them previously regarding (your project summary) but as you have not yet heard back from them and as you are concerned that they may not have received your email; you are emailing them again (you can then copy/paste your previous email if you wish or phrase it differently).
Glad to know there are so many SPSS haters out there - I thought I was the odd one out!
Done :). Hope this helps - good luck!

Student_32,
I also replied on the other thread - I can assure you there is absolutely no reason for you to panic. It is completely normal for academics to request to see your proposal - after all, how can they decide whether they want to accept a student unless they do not see the detailed proposal? You can relax; there is no need to be so anxious and stressed!
Done - hope this helps :). Good luck!
Hi Student_32,
Please don't worry about academics claiming your project as their own. I have emailed my detailed proposal outlining literature review, methodology, data collection strategy, data analysis etc. in great detail to various Universities and academics and have frequently received a polite reply stating that though the project is very interesting; it is outside of their research expertise - (I assume) basically a standard reply to those whom they do not wish to supervise for whatever reason. This does not at all mean that they are planning on running your project! As Maccle pointed out - it would appear extremely unprofessional and may impact you in the long run. Good luck with your application - hopefully, you will be accepted by a University very soon!
Done - hope this helps :). All the best!
