Done - hope this helps! Good luck!
I am passing this survey on to my friends, so hopefully you will get more participants for your project.
Hi, I thought there were two different surveys as you posted about this survey twice - turns out it is the same survey. Anyway, I completed it - good luck!

Well I may be the odd one out, but I definitely miss the old PGF layout. Somehow, it was more comforting, and simpler to navigate. Maybe it's just me, but the new layout is kind of putting me off from visiting the forum as frequently as before. Maybe, it's just because I don't like change!
Hi Human,
That is terrible! Do you have proof that the test is originally yours (perhaps you emailed it to him and thus you have evidence that it is dated prior to his modification of your text)? If you do have evidence, then you have every right to lodge a complaint against his unethical behavior. I am not sure though if it is acceptable by the University if he has indeed modified it significantly. I know I am not being much help, but I do feel for you! Good luck and do keep us updated on the issue!

Firstly, congrats on getting your abstract accepted!
I am not sure about the Engineering field, but in my field (Clinical Sciences), having an abstract accepted by a conference does not mean that your entire paper is accepted. True, you present at the conference and your abstract does get published in the Proceedings, but the entire paper is another issue. Moreover, it does not mean that your (full) paper is past the (dreaded) review process. Abstract publication is different from a paper publication as (I imagine) an abstract is not scrutinized as thoroughly as a paper, and from my experience, the former is comparatively easier to get published than the latter.
Anyway, good luck!
Huhu, you poor thing - your supervisor is being absolutely unreasonable by refusing to review your thesis. That is his job for crying out loud! You have every right to be annoyed with him and complain about him because he is not fulfilling his responsibility. Isn't there someone you can speak to about this issue? I really don't know what to say except that I totally empathize with you and hope that you are able to get through this. Wishing you all the very best!

Seems like you are in a similar dilemma, Button - perhaps the following link may help:

Apparently, journals take their own time in getting back to authors despite giving a specific deadline! It is so frustrating and difficult to be patient, right?
Anyway, hoping that your issue gets resolved soon! Good luck (up).
Swetchha, HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS!!! Way to go!!! Fantastic job!!! A great achievement indeed and I am so happy for you :-)
So I am now thinking of emailing the editor and asking them to let me know whether or not they are still interested in my revised article and if not, to kindly inform me of this, so that I can proceed with submitting my article to another journal. Is that appropriate? I had last emailed them on 23rd October.
Hi all and thanks for your responses.
Dr. J ( ;-) ), did you highlight to the journal that you were considering withdrawing your submission? Is it advisable to state that so that it may prompt the editors to respond? I have been debating on that issue since I am not sure whether that is the right way to get them to respond.
HaloChanter, I submitted my article last December and the revised one this September. I am not sure how much longer I can wait in order for them to decide whether they want to publish it or have changed their minds. Frankly, i am very frustrated at them especially because they specified that the revisions were not major and would not need to go through the review process again.
Thanks Reenie :).
Thanks for pushing my post to the top, Reenie :). Apparently no one has any advice for me so far though (:() so I went ahead and emailed the editor once more, but I have still not received any response from them so am not sure what to think.
