Agree with the above comments! :)
What's a systematic review? Do you mean a literature review? I think mine took me about a month, but everyone is different and the amount of subject knowledge available is different.
I've never heard of it.
Can you ask a specific question please?
I would say the next thing you need is an 'in' with an academic to sponsor your application. Can you go and work in a lab that you would be interested in doing a PhD in?
Did they give you any indication of an acceptance deadline in the interview or letter? You can always accept and then decline later if required.
My instinct is to tell you to go to Warwick. It's got a great reputation in the UK and it's small quiet campus, so will be totally different than London and LSE.
You should have place for comments. I have used these before, but they were on the table, so it was easy. I wouldn't like to use one like an ATM machine. This skews the results of my answers.
What do you mean if you tried? I think in the UK LSE or Warwick wouldn't matter too much. I think maybe just focus on the course. There are many people that go to prestigious unis or courses and absolutely hate them. Could you try to find any information from previous students' experiences? What about previous graduates' job prospects after completing the MSc?
I would expect you would hear a lot sooner than that. Give it a couple of weeks and then email them. If it is a very competitive position, it just may be that there are so many applicants that they only contact the ones selected for interview.
It's a tough one. LSE is definitely more well known internationally. I think if you intend to do a PhD afterwards it won't matter so much though.
Mendeley, but yes sometimes there are issues with papers disappearing or citations resetting themselves in the documents.
Thanks for this - this is encouraging for the rest of us!
It can take anything from a few days to a few months. You usually hear after the application deadline.
Well, that does sound like honest reasons. I guess you have two choices: work on these things, even if you just tell them what they want to hear to get a job, or look for jobs in a different field where you don't need to be competitive for grants.
