We need your help!

We are looking for volunteers that would like to participate in a study conducted by Karlstad University. The goal is to identify the best ways of displaying online privacy information and help people to make an informed decision during digital interactions.

In this study, we evaluate the application sign-up process and investigate what individual characteristics influence decision-making.

Estimated completion time is 15-30 minutes. If you have spare time, please click the link below.

Hi,
I am using Surveymonkey to create questionnaires, however, i am now looking for something with broad customization options. In particular, i want to ask a question, but I do not want to store the answer data, instead just receive the information that the question was answered.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
A.

Hi,
I am posting here again mainly because I am desperate.
I am looking for participants for my pilot study. It is an online survey, it takes around 15 min to fill in and it includes short video with sound.
Could you help and participate in my study? Or share it with others?
I know it is a lot to ask for since there is no compensation but i hope you understand the importance of data collection in any research.
Thank you,
A.

Quote From s3aAudio:
Hi all,

I'm a postdoc at Salford University researching sound perception. I'm currently working on a project looking into immersive audio reproduction (http://www.s3a-spatialaudio.org/wordpress/). As part of the project, I'm running a survey to try to get a better understanding of why people listen to reproduced audio in different situations.

If you're interested in taking part, the survey should take no more than 10-15 mins and you can enter into a prize draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher. Here's the link to the survey:

Happy to answer any questions about the research :)

Cheers!

Done! I would be grateful if you could return the favor.
Thank you!

Hi,
I know there is a separate thread to post surveys but it doesn't seem to work. I don't even think people notice it. So i am asking here, because i am totally desperate.

As a part of my research I am collecting data about online attitudes and behaviors. I will be grateful if you participate in my pilot study. The study will take approx. 15 min. It includes watching a very short video, therefore if you decide to participate please make sure you are able to have a video and sound on.

Thank you for your help,
A.

Hi,
I am a month through my PhD and I have been asked to prepare research questions (I know it is quite unusual but I did not have to write a research proposal due to the founding specs).
I have a general idea (more or less specific) about my research, however, I am not sure what format I should provide the questions in? For example - how long should be the document, how specific should the questions be? Should the questions be totaly unique?
I was thinking of providing a brief problem overview, then my questions/issues related to that problem/background. Do you think this is a correct approach and also how long do you think should be the document?
Thank you,
A.

Thank you TreeofLife.
So, as I understand, you did not have any specific method for search and log of the articles you have read?
Thanks,
A.

Hi,
I am now a month thorugh my PhD and I think it is the right time to begin my literature survey (I am aware it will build up and change in next few years). I was talking to my colleague and I found out that he is planning to read 1400 articles. I have to admit that such a high number surprised me a bit and it made me wonder whether I should focus rather on quality than quality of publications.
Hence I have a question to you all. What is the best method for literature survey? What approaches have you taken while starting your PhD? What would be your advice?
Thank you :)

Hi Jay,
Thank you for your advise and for the links to your tutorials.
I feel a slightly better now, however, still struggle a little. I have managed to talk to one of my supervisors and clarified some aspects of my PhD program.
Thanks again and best wishes.
