Help needed with survey for my PhD!

May be of interest, a new survey from the University of Lincoln and myself looking into wandering cats and cat management. Takes 5/10 minutes.

There are two versions of the survey available online,

One for cat owners:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/UOLCatOwners

And one for non cat owners:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/UOLNonCatOwners

They're on twitter also - @UOLCatSurvey

Completed to the best I can.

Although, the questions from the point of a house-cat owner are quite hard to answer with the options you offer as answers. Cat management does still apply to me but the answers I could choose from didn't always apply.

If it helps, the main choice regarding keeping the cats indoors is related to breed temperament and character more than anything. Health reasons is also a big factor.

Interestingly, we got a second cat as company for the first cat from Cats Protection. Although we had already decided to keep that cat as an in-door cat, the home-visit person who came said that due to the location of our house, they wouldn't have let us have the cat if we were planning on letting it outdoors because of a 'main' road being in close proximity. This is a road which is, in my opinion, way far enough away to worry about and also, not that busy a road.

I agree with Adam. Completed as best I can but it was sometimes hard to pick and answer that applied, so I had to go with the 'I don't care about.....' option when what I meant was none if the above count. My cat is not deliberately contained, but is unable to leave the garden due to age and health problems that prevent him getting over the 6 foot fence.
