Transcribing interviews

Quote From BAMC:

Hi LBaines. I had to transcribe all my own interviews for my MSc - it certainly is one way to immerse yourself in the literature! I recorded on a dictaphone, then uploaded at work, converted file into .wav and used a program called F5 (for Mac). I think they do F4 for windows. Best of all, it's FREE! You can make a donation, though. Here's the link:

How many hours need for part-time PhD
B

I am hoping to apply for a PhD but am in full time employment. If I am successful in my application, I will be negotiating my employment contract but wondered if anyone has any advice as to the university's requirements for how many hours must be dedicated in order to do a part-time PhD?
I am confident I'll have one working day off a week and then will use Saturdays as well, those this equates to about 15 hours a week. Enough? Advice welcome!
