hi, im submitting in december and out of my 2 supervisors, my 1st supports me and my second supports me but mostly because my first says so...
what i'd like to know, before submitting and going to the viva, should i work on making it clear to them (and anyone else?) that they have agreed my work is good etc. in order to avoid "surprises"?
is there any other diplomacy i should follow to be sure everything will go smoothly?
im in business/management. thanks!
Hi all,
im planning to submit in december and of course then im looking at 3-6 months until the viva and corrections are over...
Ive been advise by people in various departments to apply for a short post-doc project in the meantime.......how can i do this? I notice most of them are *connected* through their supervisors? does anyone apply randomly?
My supervisor is retired and i doubt he has many projects planned......how would I go on about this?
thanks!
hi, has anyone undertaken a postal survey and looked into increasing response rates via incentives?
I am sending envelopes but responses are slow....I'm considering a reward through a draw system, but would a prize reduce the image of the questionnaire? might it look silly?
any ideas?
Hi!
I've got a quiery in my head ans was wondering if anyone here could help...
As I study international business/management, and am about to finish, the question of looking for jobs arises...
my question is, those is the field, can you name as many work options you can imagine for a phd in in international business?
What would you do with it? where would you use it? (civil sector, private, etc.), how would you use it?
It's a general question but i'd appreciate input to see what people think...
thanks! well i've been given a 3 side guideline so I just wrote 3 sides.....of course there is no space for a reference list but I still added references in the text. is that wrong?
i think it adds some validity......especially as 3 sides is not long but still not 200 words.....

I agree but this is not an aide, it is a proposal to be sent in order to be accepted to the conference . they will read it alone, it is not my presentation.
They suggest no spacing, 12 font, and 3 sides (not pages, sides)....including all tables and i assume no space for reference lists?....
