Hi,
I have applied at various universities for a Master course. I have received some offers and I am still waiting for an answer from my prefered university. My prefered university will not reply before half May. The deadline for accepting the offer of my second choice university is 30 April. They are not willing to extend the deadline.
What happens if I accept this offer and at a later stage receive an offer from my first choice university? Can I also accept the first choice offer and then reject the other offer?
Has anyone faced a similar situation?

Lots of people withdraw from courses before they start for various reasons, I wouldn't worry too much. I would check what the cancellation policy is (to make sure you won't be financially liable in any way) but then accept it and withdraw if the preferred uni comes along.
