PhD in Chemical process Safety and Rliability

A

(1) Hi all, my first degree is in Chemical Engr and my MSc in safety Engineering and Risk Management. My ambition is to have PhD in a field that would enable me to exploit the two backgrounds i have. Which University can provide me such a basis in UK.

(2) what are the general procedures/steps for getting PhD admission?

Your response would be highly appreciated.
cheers

1) Your choice. You pick the project that interests you/supervisor you wish to work with.
2) Answer the advert/write off to people/do well in the interview

Aberdeen and Manchester both have strong Safety Engineering dept's.
Where did you get your Masters ?

I got it from Aberdeen,
Thanks alot:-)

In UK you can look for Sheffield, Heriott Watt , Aberdeen, Manchester. They all conduct research programmes in n Risk & Reliability Engineering. You need to talk to professor of the University who is working in your specialization and then make application. I wish you good luck.
