You can condense your thesis into a journal article for publication. However, you cannot copy the content from the thesis word for word. The relevant sections need to be re-written to avoid plagiarism.

As others have pointed out, that is considered self-plagiarism. Paraphrase the parts that you borrowed from the MSc thesis and cite your name and colleagues.

Hi Suad,

Ensure you follow the school's thesis template and you'l be fine. Otherwise, the process may be hectic if you do not pay attention to even the minor requirements. All the best.

I think a statistician may have to look at your data, hypotheses, and dependent and independent variables to determine the most appropriate tests.

Well, I have seen another person develop a model from her qualitative nursing dissertation which was based on grounded theory. She was also to publish an article from the dissertation but I guess she is yet to publish it.

If you are a begginer in SPSS, you should explore the option of seeking guidance from a seasoned data analyst who will guide you on which tests are most appropriate for testing the hypotheses in order to save time.
