I recently embarked on a PhD at Liverpool Uni. My thesis is specifically around the topic of social marketing within the NHS. Where abouts are you based?

I saw your post and can very much relate to your situation. I began my PhD in December and also haven't clicked with my roomies, they are all very friendly and polite but there is a language barrier which causes problems.
