Online or Blended Learning Masters Nutrition?
K

Primarily it’s the opportunity to learn and develop a deeper understanding about a subject I’m extremely passionate about. The challenge also appeals to me greatly.
I’m also very open to career change, and if successful moving into food policy government/private sector or possibly sports nutrition & high performance.
I think the combination of an MSc & senior management experience in pharma could open doors in an emerging field.
Would value opinions & thoughts on my perspective here.
Thx

Online or Blended Learning Masters Nutrition?

Hello,
My first post here, I couldn’t see many posts / replies on Masters courses in Nutrition so started a new thread.
I’m currently working FT, graduated in 1990, in the pharmaceutical industry. Maybe somewhat related to nutrition study, hoping that’s the view of some university’s.
I’d like to study nutrition alongside my FT job / family life. I’ve read the messages discussing expected time commitment which I’m comfortable with. My challenge is finding the right course, no idea if my profile will be accepted.
I did find one at Manchester Metro, a new course on Nutrition & Food science which can be done on line over 2 years. Fees come up around £11K - so a big commitment.
Does anyone know much about this course / uni?
Or, any other options I might consider. Also, is it possible to jump straight into a Masters as a graduate in a non related subject (Engineering), but with extensive work experience.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thx
Kieron
