My nerves are getting the best of me, but I am insisting on getting this done(up)
For now I think it is best to look at one chapter at a time as thinking of all the chapters and how to finish them all at once might make me really sad.
Best of luck to everyone

Hi, verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry important thread,
How MANY HOURS A DAY do you work for your Phd?
How do you organise your time?
Do you write your chapters in chronological order or do you focus on certain chapters then go back to the first ones and the last ones?
Many thanks
Personally, I am having hard time organising my time with me thinking of all the chapters at once.
Hi,
I have stopped progressing for the last 3 months because of stress and depression and lack of confidence in my self, abilities and my PhD.
I have been trying to start again, but I guess I am still lacking the organisation and motivation as I don't know where to start to compensate and catch up (I am now thinking of the time pressure more than everrrrrr)
BUT WHAT I REALLY KNOW FOR SURE IS THAT i REALLY WANT THIS PHD SOOOOOOOO BADLY and willing to do my best to do it?
Any one suffered the same, but 'recovered' and had a new strooooong start?(up)
I would really appreciate any experience, advice or idea to re-organise my life and re-focus on my PhD work
Thanks
Hi
I always feel that I am kind of weak when it comes to negotiative and communicative skills with my supervisors in the normal tutorials and meetings. And I can see it in their eyes that they know I am not a confedent person.
SO I always have the following question in mind:
If I can't handle this, How am I going to survive the VIVA ??????
I know its too early for me to stat worreing about this, but I can't really help it.
what is you advice? Can I practice giving speeches and defending my views? will this improve by time? or are their specialised courses and books for this??
It is normal that at the begining of the PhD programme to have frequent discussions and sometimes changes to you research questions and directions
find out a way that can make you do what you want, but in a flexible way that meets with their expectations
Good luck
