ouch too!
Was hanging around, refreshing my mail, checking this forum, watching a DVD in the corner of my screen and that slap caught me, better do some work.....
My initial quant. study will use 120 but the follow-up qual. study will only be focussing on around 10, as put forward by my very experienced supervisor who has conducted an awful lot of research in my area over the last 10 years.
These are unbelievable! I have just read them out aloud to my husband and decided right now, I must have the best supervisor in town, I feel so very sorry for you but have to say, it has made me laugh. I need to print this off, to make me realize how priviledged I am ...
May is my favourite month, Summer is still a promise, Winter is forgotten and the leaves are the most unbelievably bright fresh green they will ever be
I am researching in the field of neural ageing.
Thanks Otto, much appreciated
I think it is probably what has been drummed into me in the past, DO NOT SHARE etc. etc. If your whole dept. uses a single one, then I can't see why it is so bad after all. I am hoping my supervisor will offer me one as he knows I haven't got one any more, short of that, I will just ask him, by the end of the week. He is great, maybe he has just not thought about it. Or maybe after the 20th article I ask him to download for me, he may have a think about giving me one
Quite frankly, it is beaurocracy gone to seed.
Sixkitten, I have looked at the site and my student page but all they offered me was a platinium credit card and library onsite access. They said I couldn't get Athens due to regulations etc. I have sent an additional email as well, so will try again ...
Hi
I suffered from ill health for the last two years of my MSc and one of my modules was particularly affected and I got a lower mark. I chose not to say anything on my PhD application for the reason that golfpro said. I was a bit disappointed that one of my referees made reference to it but I still got in with one lower mark out of 4 and I think it shows more tenacity than giving excuses.
Just my experience...
Thanks anyway, kitkat, if I don't get something else sorted in the next couple of weeks, I may need to ask you a favour then
Have a good day, mine will be better now
Thank you so much
I now have these papers thanks so very much...
(Virtual Tea and Biscuit)
My Alumni will offer me a Platinum Mastercard but not Athens
Due to licensing arrangements etc. .......
