I agree with TreeofLife. In as much as you want to balance your personal life, just remember boyfriends come and go even husbands. But your qualifications would be there for the rest of your life!

I 'm also starting my PhD next week and I am a bit nervous about my first ever encounter/meeting with my supervisors.
