I'm sorry you feel this way as I'm pretty sure we're all just trying to help. I'm not really sure how my comment came across to you. I don't think for a minute that you plagiarised (or why would you start this thread??;-) ) but I can see you're concerned that you might be accused of plagiarising. I was just trying to reassure you that this is unlikely, but I don't think I did a good job :-(

Chances of anyone remembering lines of papers are slim and I'm pretty sure unis don't run our thesis through such services.

I don't know how you can watch 'tv' and do work at the same time Sneaks... I wish I could, I think I'd find referencing less painful but I probably wouldn't do any work either and just end up watching one programme after another!!

Well done for finishing your dreaded chapter Naturalme! Yeah, maybe you're right, emailing my sups on Mon was the end of an era but not quite literally so I must find the motivation to continue somehow!

My day hasn't been the most productive, things have slowed down a bit. To be honest, I'm just really tired after the 'marathon' of the past few weeks. Plus I'm sorting out references, appendices, etc and it's just sooo boring! I'm sure I'll get there eventually though!

@Cindrella - thanks, I know we're supposed to take breaks etc but I don't really like it as I feel I lose track of things...

@ Sneaks - About your paragraph that your sup wants you to remove it, could you keep it? Would she remember she told you to remove? Cheeky I know but I agree with you that you need to talk about your hypothesis somewhere on the results section!

Saying that, everyone seems so busy around here that it helps me to keep motivated and pushing forward so thank you!

I can't say that I have but, tbh, I wasn't thinking of doing it either. I appreciate that you've worked really hard on your thesis but are you sure you want to check it? Not that I think you've done, quite the opposite, I don't think you have so... I'm really sorry, but it just sounds like a waste of money to me... if you know you haven't done it and if you've kept a 'paper trail' somewhere, most of us have in some shape or form, then I don't think you need it. But if you really want to, you could 'test it out' and add some random quote or info from a paper and send it through to test it...

Thanks Cindrella but I ended up not being able to do everything I'd planned. I'm glad you had a good time with your friends though! We all need that now and again.

The 'weekend' deadline has definitely become 'Monday', thankfully this wasn't an official deadline so I'll try to get everything done by lunchtime, if not looking good by then, I'll have to email sups :-(

Goal for the morning: proofreading and do some references eek
