I am currently considering a PhD do the hundredth time, having graduated with a high 2:1 and an MSc. I have worked in the life science industry for three years however at twenty six, the salaries ahead look a bit daunting. I was earning higher wages working in bars as a student and the financial situation is really starting to get me down. I am considering doing a PhD to enhance my career trajectory, however I am subside which next step would be the most lucrative.
