For the UK you can apply directly by looking at some projects on this site, but the US you need GRE and TOFEL.

To be honest, I think getting funding for a phd in the UK for an international student is quite a nightmare as I find it difficult myself.

I am looking for a PhD, but found it quite hard to find funding and a place in the UK which made me look outside of the box and USA.

The US universities pay for all fees and give a good stipend.

I am wondering if anyone has some comments on which PhD will be better
