I'm writing my thesis - haven't written ANYTHING since my differentiation report 3 years ago - gulp. It's really difficult - unless I'm writing descriptive stuff (science PhD), every little phrase is a struggle. I won't say how much I'm trying to write by Monday, it's ridiculously over-optimistic.
I only have images of a few people - pea is definitely blonde, about2defend (who became onwards&upwards I think) is heavily pregnant sitting in front of a PC and looks like someone who used to be in my department. Coastman also really reminds me (by what he says) of someone I went to school with who's doing a geography PhD...but I think he's in the wrong part of the country, and I think juno said she was small and 'thin' (didn't weigh much anyway - we had a weight discussion once).
It's funny - you're a complete stranger (I don't even know your PhD area, and until recently I couldn't remember if you were male or female - got that sorted now though), you read some words on a screen and they stuck in your head like I was really talking to you... I quite often find myself thinking - or saying to others - 'someone was telling me the other day...' then try to remember WHO it was only to discover it was someone on here.
