Hi Insommniac, you're not a pain at all! I can completely empathise with how you're feeling as I have a similar problem myself. It's horrible when you feel you loose control and it makes you feel even worse when you know it's difficult for those around to understand. It's aggravated even further by the fact you can't explain to others why you have sudden spirals down. I wish I could say there's a full proof recipe, a magic pill to make things immediately better. All I can say is it takes time and patience. Often talking things through, though it can raise issues, does help. But trust me the up spells do get longer and eventually the dark episodes will disappear. Most importantly, you're not alone and there are people who want to support and help you! Big, big hug!
Sorry to hear that Jen. As for me got quite a sweet card and got him Life on Mars on DVD,if it turns up! I ordered it last week and no sign yet, fingers crossed it turns up tomorrow ! I know it's not fluffy ect, but he really likes the series, so hopefully he'll enjoy it!
I work form home for part of the week, my general rule is start from 9-9:30 and finish about 6pm with an hour off for lunch. If there's time I might do another hour after tea. Ofcourse there's a few coffee breaks aswell and faffing on this forum. But I try to be disciplined as it makes me feel that I'm making progress and limits the cold sweats and panics
LOL, no not a fan so afraid to break your sterotype! Largely though I'm all in favour of most things that will encourage interest in history. Time team I'm actually a little critical of as it propably does mor damage to the resource in the long term. Mum however loves it!
I may be naive here, but can't quite see how we get from tesco loyalty cards, which occaisionally throw me a good deal, say cheaper prized baked beans, to big brother and a totalitarian state. So Tesco know I like Impulse deoderant, its not exactly taking us in the direction of 'thought crimes' is it?
