"as to work, you can fit in a retail organization."
I wouldn't commit to anything unless you have the monies in place. The above suggestion sounds OK on paper. In practice, with a recession descending on the UK, retailing is going to be hit very hard and I wouldn't bank on getting a job in that sector.
I think your problems is this bit.."(I was working alot during my MA , around 30 hrs a week, so i didn't go to class much)...The only person who will possibly provide one , does not have a good impression of me.
They appear to unwilling to give you a good reference as you were never there (fair comment it seems). Frankly I don't blame them, and I don't know what you really expect them to do.
An MBA is a very intensive course so I would doubt you'd have the time to fit in any P/T work. Also the UK's entering a recession so this will seriously impinge on the availability of such employment possibilites. Thirdly, would your visa actually entitle you to work in the UK?
Some people you just can't help. The answer to your question can be (easily) found via a rudimentary search of Google - is there a small child in the room that could perhaps help you with such tough questions? Try not to be such a dic**ead when (perhaps if may be more appropriate) you get to that top university.
