you would be very highly thought of and would find it a lot easier to get a job, as long as you can teach ok. you would probably progress up the careeer ladder quicker as well

there are plenty of evening courses throughout the UK. No one needs a Masters in it, you jsut do a normal course

In the UK? WIth a British 3rd CLass hons it's not very common to get a masters so even less likely with a nigerian one I'm afraid.

even the ex-polytechnics may not take you with a 3rd class degree, especially not a UK degree.

yes they're common in science and engingeering. You normally apply for the 4year masters, but in order to do it you must get a 2i or above after completing your BSc/BEng year

What exact background is needed.

i'm not sure computer engineering would count. it's not a proper engingeering subject so to speak. why don't you just phone the uni and ask someone who would know?

as far as I know a masters is a masters whether you do it as an undergrad or post grad. it's jsut called different things to distinguish how you did it

Unfortunately Juno, I get the impression that some people post as a first line, not as a back up. I think it irritates people as they ahve themselves put a lot of effort and ahrd work into getting a PhD and carrying it out and these people with the "Help me" messages just ask silly questions without doing any of their own work

for starters, theology is not the kind of subject that ANYONE gets funded in, let alone foreign people who have poor english. So it's not discrimination for being a lone parent.

I would follow his advice and improve your english before applying.
