I couldnt possibly spare the time to do it again if I am going to meet my mandatory 14 hour working day. Now stop wasting time on PG forums and do some real research (like me). Mind you, aren't you finished yet? well thats what a lack of high expectations and demands does for you! I feel we have much to learn H....

anyone get the feeling that the phrase "Pot calling the Kettle black" springs to mind???
I also didn't have to do a Masters before commencing my fully funded PhD in science - you seem very whingy and bitter. Maybe you should get a boyfriend or will no one have you?
PGCE for FE teaching is not necessarily full time - my partner is a FE lecturerer and does his PGCE one night a week. Bear in mind that to do a PGCE you must first have a teaching post. chicken and egg scenario. I would have thought if you are a PhD student you may have to fund yourself if you really want to do it.
what stu said. The more you stress the less work you will get done. take a day, go for a walk, do some shopping, whatever you feel like. Just do anything but think of work. Then get back to it on friday. Also set yourself some deadlines, but small ones. make it more achievable. remeber youre almost done. Just hang in there!!!
