best to ask in advance.. just in case!
none of the above.. is that bad!?
i would be a bit dubious. why cant she show you how to carry out stats tests wihtout actually doing it there seems no logical reason why she would do them for you and then give you them without something to gain from it
dont give up! seems she enjoys creating situations. if your supervisor knows they should try a bit harder to solve the situation,
im not crazy after all.... think everyone i know feels like that!
i love the feeling of achievement when i get results.. and im also quite sad that i get exciting about planning experiments...!!
hi i had an interview there two years ago. cant offer a great amount of information except i felt it would be more like a job as such rather than say working in a university where you come and go as you please, plus the format would be slightly different with it being an external agency.
our robot is sadly not a big steel man sadly its a arm in a box that loads up 96 well plates. making my life much easier so i dont get cramp. though walking talking robots would be fun. no more running around for me!
walk in freezers scare me also..
in a word yes!!.. a friend got offered a PhD project within out department that i had not seen advertised.. until three weeks later it was advertised in new scientist.. and we got asked to show the interviewees around... knowing the project was taken.
from what ive found you can approach them beforehand this seems to be how the majority of people obtain postdocs. ive been told to start networking now.. (1.5 into my PhD)
I hate using our robot for PCR. it gets jammed and things all the time and boss goes mad.
liquid nitrogen scares me i have visions of my hand freezing and falling off.
debating whether finding something else to distract me is good... !!!
might have a quick look...
what is facebook? (am i totally stupid?!)
hehe, i think more you bump off your partner and steal the house! though you never can tell with some supervisors...
