I don't care what you think Nick and the fact you dispute I know myself better than you displays your arrogance and disrespect.

Nick the feedback I GOT is 100% accurate FOR ME. Therefore MBTI does not equal "horoscopes".

Problem is Nick you don't know who I am and I do. I am INTJ. Nothing you can do or say can change that.

The MBTI is valid. It is 100% accurate in its description of me. I am INTJ.

To find an MA or MFA in Creative Writing anywhere that will accept my qualifications

Glasgow. There is the MLitt and the MFA. One of these two courses has an open-door policy. Not sure which.

That is actually evidence in favour of MBTI. I took 3 different tests. Always INTJ output. Perfect descriptors.

Is non-funded PGCE worth it?

You need the teaching qualification if you want to be in schools. Heads have voted no-confidence in Gove's stupid policies such as having non-qualified individuals as teachers.

Patseya do you want to be a Secondary teacher even though you have a PhD?

I find your post a bit confusing. Are you a) someone who wants to be a secondary teacher or b) someone who wants to be a lecturer at University?

If you want to be a secondary teacher really you should have a PGCE - I can't see Secondary Head's employing you without one. This seems like a very strange idea to me and I am surprised it is possible.

If you want an Academic career my advice would be to not do a PGCE. For an Academic career this idea sounds like a total, absolute, complete waste of money. I have an MA English and a PGDE and have nearly now finished my MLitt. I will then be doing a PhD because I want to be an academic. My only regret is wasting time doing a PGDE and spending time in Secondary schools. Secondary is horrible.

Without being rude, if you want to be a secondary teacher why did you do a PhD?

Yes they will.

If the work is to a high enough standard then it doesn't matter who submits the article.

Job market is hellish. If it were me I would take a normal 9 - 5 in Tesco/MacDonald's whatever and work on my CV and funding applications during the evening. Some work is better than no work and it is easier to get a job when you are in a job - also helps with morale. Casual work employers will know you won't want to stay with them forever so they will let you go to interviews for regular science jobs. In your spare time you can write research proposals and do your literature reviews. By the time you start your PhD you will already know a lot about it.

Having said that I could have been applying for funding while doing all of that which I didn't out of lack of faith which I wouldn't advise.
