I'm not sure about the leisure centres either. I enjoy sport but my boyfriend and I have to fork out nearly £8 for 40 minutes on a badminton court. I remember that being out of my reach when I was 15. It may not be much more than a packet of cigarettes, but its still a lot of money.
Hmmm, I don't know what the solution is!
Poor Jen! Just think, what if he was run over by a bus? If you'd be sad - make up! If you'd be glad- break up
My boyfriend and I are a bit anti-valantine. Basically, we don't like not being able to go out for a random quiet drink or meal because everything is so expensive and weirdly couplely! But the we are old miseries!
I have both an optician AND a dental appointment! I know
Well, its experimental psychology, so its not out of the question, but I think the assumption is going a bit far. I have to set up an attentional capture in visual search experiment using photographic stimuli. To be fair, that probably make sense to you unless you are a visual cognition person!
Jeeez, I am very near a panic attack.
She hasn't replied to my email, which I'm taking as a bad sign. But maybe she's just busy.
Help! My supervisor wanted me to programme an experiment for a second year (psychology) lab that's being held on the 22nd. I thought I would have time to sort it all out, but now there's no way that I'm going to be able to get it done. I can't even programme. She's going to be so p*ssed off, and I'm terrified now. ~I've just emailed her to tell her the problems, but I'm worried about what her response will be, particularly as this was a great chance for me to get some data. Why do these people expect you to be able to programme? How are you supposed to learn?!
Hey Matthew - now its all falling into place why you wanted to apply to Birmingham - The Birmingham Lions are the best American Football team in the country. Woohoo!
I love my sport but have been completely unable to get into it down at UCL. There's loads of things schedualed for a wednesday afternoon, which is completely rubbish. Birmingham uni would never have done this, which I'm guessing is why they are number 2 in the BUSA league so consitantly, as opposed to Uni of London, which seems to look down on sport.
It sucks!
Hehe! Thanks everybody! I had a great time, I managed to make the celebrations last from friday evening til this evening - which I thought very clever of me. My boyfriend came to stay, so it was great.
I'm 23, which is slightly distressing, but what's more distressing is that I bought I book on Visual Attention as a little birthday girft to myself, and I wont lie, I'm genuinely excited about it...I'm old AND boring...
