in my case it is deleting a name of a friend as a reference which I quoted in a footnote but he did not like his name to be there so I decided to delete it. I was thinking of doing the same and going with a fluid correction pen and did this but not sure if I can do it in the British Library !

I got my phd 5 months ago but I discovered there is one blank page and a typo in my thesis and would like to replace the copies I gave to my UK university + british library with new copies is this normal? :-)

In my friend's story it is only names of two categories which my firned believed was her ideas before the other guy belonged them to him!

Has it been ever happened that a university investigated post-PhD problems?

My friend believed that a colleague of her (who finished his PhD) did not mention that she helped me in his work. The thing is that he finished before she finished her PhD. So she mentioned that in her PhD. Now Her colleague is claiming she has no right to mention that since he finished before her and threatened to complain to the university.

What is the worst that can happen?

Yes. I passed my viva yesterday. It was so enjoyable. It took one hour. The external started with some generic questions and then few specific ones. They gave me very few corrections which I can do in one week or less. It's a relief. I feel it's like a dream like i did not have a viva. Party time now!(gift)
