Thanks guys. I left school for several years. I have no one could help me with my proposal. My proposed area are the international business strategy with local enterprise. its in business & management.
I did the introduction, literature review, objectives, methods and preference etc. My thoughts were developed a strategic model for local business development. however, might I don't have stronger literature parts to follow, somehow, they might feel my proposal is unclear.
I don't know what and how should I work on them now. :-(
Hi Dear,
I have been turned down by several universties scholarship application. some told me that because the proposal was not judged to be of a sufficiently high standard.
Anyone could give me some suggestion of being a high standard research proposal that I can work on it. Thanks for all.

Hi Dear Satchi, Thanks so much for you kindly support. You always be here to share my feeling. Thanks so much.
I guess I won't do the PhD locally as this is not my interests. I will look for other funding. but , do you know any information about their processes of scholarship application? I got IELTS in 7, I am not sure if the IELTS result, they just need it to meet the academic requirement is enough, or the higher is better?
and about the time, as i know, there are still some studentship closed in April, and laterly in June. is that mean, after June or July, all the final desicion will come out. and now I should not give up so fast. I should still keep looking and applying for them.
:-s I need money, if just fee-waiver also will be great for me.
Dears, I am really desperated. I applied for PHD in business, got some con or uncon-offers. but none of them has scholarship. I applied for some too. but one was died already. rest of them, still no information yet.
I am really so upset, what Can I do now. I want to study the PhD so so much, but what if I can't get any scholarship. I can't afford all the tution fees and life expenses. All the ppl kept telling me that a PhD has no time for a job. I am devastated.
PlZ, anyone can help me and give me some advice. what should I do for the next. :-(
:-x I Have a long hair, will think about to change little bit next time.
Just very stressful. The scolarship I applied haven't reached the closing date yet. Its still having a lot of ppl coming for that.
I need to wait, and might wait to have a bad news. GOD, when i can have a day like you.
Have fun dear...
Hi Dear ,
Thanks for your reply. Its so lucky that you have passed all the process already.
this feeling of waiting really not good. LOL. I might hurt badly at the end. Its too competitive.
Maybe I should forget this scholarship and start from zero.
:-s tough time

Hi Guys.
I applied a scholarship, had interview with the supervisors and was great. But this scholarship is very competitive, kind only a few people could finally get it.
Now, I can do is nothing, anyone could tell me some information about what can i do for strengthen my competitiveness? I really wanted this scholarship :-(
Hi there.
Firstly Thanks to Satchi, Its quite important information relate to university residential halls. I would ask careful before making order.
And thanks to Bewildered too. As your advised, I have checked with my own Country, Kingston is in the recognized universities list. You are right about the range thing. It is in the lower rank, I have considered about it too. However, My major is well established in this University. And the professors which had interviewed with me was so great. I have looked with other universities higher rank than him. But personally I still like Kingston more.
This was also the thing confused me before, If the rank of universities is really a matter for a PHD student. I don't know your guys opinion about this.
Hi satchi, Thanks for all.
Thats really very scaring:p the one is Kingston university, the location is between London and Surrey. the rent will be 300-400p/m. (400P/m for living in univerisity). I can cook. but totally I counted was around 700P/M.
You are right about the Part time earning. Its not enough for whole (only for the rent).
I will keep looking for the funding. But in case I couldn't get it, the life would be really very very hard :-(
I couldn't image how to live there (sighing....)
Hi Satchi, Thanks a lot of your kindly reply.
I apply for Oct 2010, it still have pretty time left for me. and i will keep looking for the other founding. However, my major is in Business. it would be harder than others. Currently the non-funding university has the research center and the prof that I liked a lot. I was just worried in case I couldn't get studentship, then if my parents support me for the tution fee, I still need to solve the life expense by myself. and I have no idea about working PT or FT in UK.
Hi there. I post my first title after a quick registering.
I am so confused now. I got an unconditional offer from a UK university with non-funded. Thats mean I have to go for it with my own package money. Plus, I am a non-UK/EU applicant, the fees would be massive (totally around 17,500P per year). I am unable to affort this.
I asked my parent to help me, but they don't like me to take PHD. instead, they advise me to get married coz I am no longer a young for them. I am 28 and I don't like the life what they wanted from me.
:-( What should I do? I really want to Go for PHD. at the same time, I don't want to ask more from My parents.
