I'm planning on buying a voice recorder, and am a little confused by the choice out there - does anyone have any recommendations (or warnings?) as to what I could use? I've seen a little gadget that attaches to an Ipod Nano - does anyone have experience of that? (It's a lot cheaper than buying a voice recorder!)
Any help gratefully received!
I'm a year in, and still can't get it down to a sentence! Well, I can, but the sentence keeps changing! Added to mine is the reaction I get which is either "Ooooh, how interesting" or "Ugh, how can you read about that stuff?"
My PhD is considering the social power of genocide survivors once they've migrated to the UK.
Would it help if I reminded you of the human rights abuses in China? Perhaps of the continued harassment and imprisonment of Shi Weihan? Lots of racist, nazi demons live in China too. Your relatives got a job in the US after graduation - if employment is a problem, why don't you go to the US and get a job? If you are so unhappy here, why don't you move elsewhere?
As you have faith, perhaps you need to be reminded of Jesus' commandment - love one another as I have loved you. I suggest calling random people Nazis and demons may not be what Jesus meant.
Perhaps you should think before posting such vicious comments about your host nation?
Yes, the ethics form is for all that stuff - confidentiality, anonymity, permission etc. My problem is that the guidance notes for this form make reference to things like "clear statement should be in protocol regarding confidentiality" but the list of supporting documents needed for the ethics submission doesn't refer to a protocol. I'm part of a department that includes health sciences, so I was wondering whether protocols are more health based rather than a usual part of all research.
This may sound like an obvious question, but should all research have a research protocol, or are protocols just limited to health research?
I'm currently working on my ethical approval for my research (based in criminology) but am confused, as some of the guidance notes for the form refer to a protocol, but at the same time it doesn't appear to be one of the required documents for submission. I've emailed the relevant people at my uni, but as it's the summer they're all on leave. Aaargh!
Any help gratefully received!
